Some colors strongly impact the meaning of a message. Red, for example,  signals "danger" to many people. Perhaps that's why accountants highlight budget deficits with red numbers. In a presentation, reserve red text for serious problems that you don't want your audience to miss. Even then, consider using boldface, underline, or italics instead.
