Presentation Politics (#2)

Be aware that handing out copies of your deck at the start of a meeting could make getting through your presentation difficult. Instead of looking at you, people's eyes are focused on the document. Also, people tend to skip ahead and ask questions before you've had the chance to provide the relevant context. In most cases, it's better to present first and let people know that the deck will be available to them after the meeting.
